About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Content Production Assistant to join our creative team. Responsibilities
Assist in the research and fact-checking of content to ensure accuracy and credibility.
Proofread and copy edit articles, scripts, proposals, and other written materials following AP style, Chicago Manual of Style, or relevant guidelines.
Support the editing process by reviewing drafts for clarity, consistency, and tone; suggest improvements as needed.
Collaborate with writers, editors, and designers to coordinate content production schedules and meet deadlines.
Conduct background research on topics to enhance content quality and depth.
Format and prepare documents using word processing tools while maintaining professional standards.
Contribute creative ideas during brainstorming sessions to enhance storytelling techniques and content variety.
Qualifications
Strong writing skills with a keen eye for grammar, punctuation, and style; familiarity with AP style is preferred.
Experience in proofreading, copy editing, or editing written materials.
Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate within a team environment.
Ability to conduct thorough research and fact-checking efficiently.
Knowledge of journalism principles, technical writing, or creative writing is a plus.
Proficiency in word processing software and familiarity with style guides such as the Chicago Manual of Style.
